Our 2011 National Championships were held May 15-18 In Nashville, Tennessee. Tournament headquarters was located in Franklin, a southern suburb of Nashville. The Franklin Breakfast Rotary Club was the official tournament host. Heading up the club's efforts were Fred Reynolds and Al Adams.
Tournament competitors endured unseasonable cool and damp weather throughout the practice round and three tournament rounds. The tournament's first round was at the tough Westhaven Golf Club. The course featured 14 elevated greens and high scores were the norm.
The tournament moved to the two Vanderbilt Legends courses for the final two days. Both tracts were mature and immaculately manicured and drew positive comments from all competitors.
